The Cincinnati Bengals suffered yet another loss in Week 11, falling to the Oakland Raiders, 17-10, to push their imperfect record to 0-10. Cincinnati remains the only winless team in the NFL and the team's odds to finish with a dreaded 0-16 record are going in the wrong direction if you're a Bengals fan.
Following their 10th loss of the 2019 season, the Bengals' odds of an 0-16 regular season shifted from +750 to +400, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
While the Bengals only lost by a touchdown, their fifth loss by seven points or less this season, it was a particularly rough outing for quarterback Ryan Finley, who completed just 41.9 percent of his passes for 115 yards (3.7 yards per attempt), zero touchdowns and one interception. Finley was also sacked five times.
Cincinnati has made no mention of turning back to Andy Dalton for its Week 12 contest with the Pittsburgh Steelers, a game in which the Bengals are 6-point home underdogs. They really have no reason not to stick to the youth movement as the Bengals have already been eliminated from playoff contention, with their Week 11 loss to the Raiders.
If the Bengals do lose their next six games, they'll join the 2008 Detroit Lions and the 2017 Cleveland Browns as the only NFL teams to go winless since the league expanded to a 16-game regular season.
With some seemingly winnable games left on the Bengals' schedule, including four games against teams with losing records – the New York Jets (3-7), Miami Dolphins (2-8) and Cleveland Browns (4-6) twice – they'll have half a dozen chances to get first-year head coach Zac Taylor the first win of his NFL coaching career. And, if not, we'll have to see just how long this streak lasts.
