Cincinnati Bengals star wideout Ja'Marr Chase was putting together another elite season in his sophomore campaign before it was derailed by a hip injury. The original thought was the injury may land him on IR and even threaten the remainder of his season. Luckily the injury turned out to not be as bad as expected and now Chase could be back on the field in Week 12, after missing just three games.

Ja'Marr Chase Injury Update

This would be a huge update for both the Bengals offense and quarterback Joe Burrow, both of which work much more effectively when Chase is on the field.

Before the injury, Chase was on pace to replicate his record-setting rookie season. In seven games, he has hauled in 47 catches for 605 yards and 6 touchdowns. The Bengals have gone 1-1 thus far without Chase and will be without him again in Week 11 against the Steelers — which is fortunately a game the Bengals should still be able to win without Chase.

Week 12 against the Titans provides a tougher matchup and having Chase back for that one will be huge. Currently, the Bengals are 1.5-point road favorites in Week 12, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds. Although, that could change if and when Chase is made officially active for that contest.
