Ben Roethlisberger Roasts Refs After Fumble Call Against Seahawks

The officials became a hot topic during Sunday night's game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was at the center of one controversial call that ended up being ruled a fumble on a fourth-quarter pass attempt.
Roethlisberger clearly wasn't happy with the refs' explanation.
Ben said the explanation from the officials on his fumble was that even tho the ball went forward, his arm was going backwards.

“I had to ask Josh Dobbs, who’s an aerospace engineer,if that’s possible. He said it’s not.
“I can’t get fined for that because that’s Josh saying that”
Roethlisberger had to consult fellow QB Josh Dobbs, who graduated from Tennessee with a degree in aerospace engineering, on the play. Dobbs claimed it wasn't possible for Big Ben's arm to move backward while throwing the ball forward, and Roethlisberger was happy to relay his genius teammate's feelings on the call.
Pittsburgh overcame the refs to eventually capture a 23-20 overtime win over the Seahawks on Sunday. It's a step in the right direction for the Steelers, who've won two straight after a three-game losing streak earlier in the year.
The team now heads into a bye before a Week 8 clash against the Cleveland Browns.
