The Chicago Bears' playoff hopes have been gone for weeks now. As the team enters the final week of the season, it is already looking ahead to next campaign.

With wide receiver being a position of need this offseason, Chicago decided to lock up young wideout Equanimeous St. Brown with a one-year extension.

St. Brown didn't have a stellar year in 2022, but he did have his best outing since his rookie season. In 15 games, he hauled in 20 catches for 320 yards and 1 touchdown.

Chicago could very well draft or try and sign another wideout in free agency this offseason, but at least now they know they have one more year with a young guy who showed some signs of life this season.
