The Bears are set to get a big piece of their defense back on the field for Thursday Night Football. Cornerback Jaylon Johnson no longer has an injury designation ahead of Chicago's Week 6 matchup with the Washington Commanders.

Jaylon Johnson Injury Update

Johnson, a starting cornerback for the Bears, has only played in two games so far this season. He has 4 tackles and a forced fumble in those two games.

Johnson will be a welcomed addition back to a Chicago defense that surrenders the 15th-fewest points per game. While they only surrender the 9th-fewest passing yards per game, Johnson should only improve that. And the team needs it since it only scores 17.2 points per game, ranking No. 27 in the NFL.

Chicago is a 1-point home favorite against Washington on Thursday Night Football, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest Week 6 odds.
