Anthony Davis Claims Lakers' Goal Rivals Success of 2015-16 Warriors Historic Season

The Los Angeles Lakers have started the LeBron James-Anthony Davis era hotter than most people probably expected. They currently own an 18-3 record, tied for the best in the NBA. While many of the Lakers' wins have come against lesser competition thus far, the early success is still certainly encouraging.
It's not just the fans and the media who have high hopes for the Lakers, though. The expectations of the players in the locker room are through the roof too, at least according to Davis.
Davis expects the Lakers to avoid a losing streak of any kind this season, even back-to-back games. A feat that has only been accomplished by one other team in NBA history, the 73-win Golden State Warriors.
So Anthony Davis says The Lakers stated goal is to go the entire season without a losing streak. It's happened one time in NBA history: The 2015-2016 Warriors

At face value this seems like a crazy goal, especially for a team that, for the most part, is playing together for the first time this season.

The 2015-16 Warriors, despite their record-setting regular season, went on to lose to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals. So if you were to ask Davis or anyone else on this Lakers team, I'm sure they'd choose a championship over any regular-season goal.
