Angels Drop Fresh City Connect Jerseys

The 2022 MLB regular season has been full of great pitching, dramatic home runs and great baseball played all over the diamond. Another great factor of baseball's summer is the continued dropping of Nike City Connect jerseys. These "city-inspired" first dropped with a handful of teams in the 2021 season and that trend continued this year thanks to their favorable reception.

The Los Angeles Angels joined in on the fun when they dropped some fresh "Southern California" City Connect jerseys on Monday. Check it out below.

The new Angels uniform is truly inspired by that Southern California beach feel, as evidenced by the photoshoot conduced on one of SoCal's infinite beaches. It's a simple cream-colored base that pays homage to the sandy beaches, and that beautiful Angels Red, written in lettering "inspired by surf brands."

Finally, the right sleeve displays a patch that symbolizes the "early railway that connected Southern California."

Seriously, the Angels did a bang-up job with this City Connect jersey. Los Angeles will don the uniforms on Saturday, June 11 against the New York Mets.
