One thing's for sure: 2020 was a unique year, and will likely be remembered as such. The COVID-19 pandemic affected every industry, and like every other era of sports, it should be documented in the respective Halls of Fame.

As usual, the NFL is leading the pack. The Pro Football Hall of Fame recently announced that Andy Reid's face shield will be enshrined for all-time as an artifact.

The Kansas City Chiefs head coach is used to making headlines for his Hawaiian shirts and iconic mustache, but in 2020 it was his foggy face shield that stole the show. The fun-loving HC should end up in the Hall of Fame himself someday after another Super Bowl appearance, but for now, his mask will have to do.

As for the NFL and its fans, they'll hope that this new exhibit is a sign that the worst is behind them as they look ahead to the 2021 season.
