Amari Cooper Injury Update is Great News for 2021 Fantasy Outlook

The Dallas Cowboys' offense is looking like one of the NFL's most exciting in 2021 — especially for fantasy football purposes.
With Dak Prescott back under center, the big question mark for Dallas has been the health of star wideout Amari Cooper, who is dealing with an ankle injury.
According to Jerry Jones' latest update, fantasy football managers won't need to worry about

Being back at practice by mid-August is just about the best-case scenario for Cooper. Obviously the top concern is that he's on the field in Week 1, but knowing that he won't even be cutting it close and will have a couple weeks to shake off any rust on the practice field is very heartening.
He may have a lot of competition for volume in an offense that also features Ezekiel Elliott, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb, but Cooper has consistently proven that he can be a top producer regardless.
In 2020, despite spending more time playing with a combination of Andy Dalton and Ben DiNucci than with Prescott, Cooper turned 130 targets into 1,114 yards and 5 touchdowns. That made him the WR15 in PPR scoring leagues.
Considering he had scored 8 touchdowns on 119 targets in 2019, and that his average yards per target dropped from 10.0 in 2019 to 8.6 in 2020, we can also probably expect a bounce-back in efficiency with Prescott getting him the ball.
Amari Cooper ADP
FantasyPros' average draft position (ADP) data has Cooper going as the 16th wide receiver off the board. With a clean bill of health he'll have a good shot to finish well ahead of that ranking in 2021.
