The Alabama Crimson Tide football program has been an absolute powerhouse in the NCAA, recruiting top talent and putting some of the nation's best players on the field. These players develop and often are able to make the leap to the next level, being drafted into the NFL. This season, Alabama is projected to have more players selected in the first round than any other school.

FanDuel Sportsbook currently has the over/under of Alabama players being selected as first-round picks at 5.5, with the odd to go over at -112. If the over hits, Alabama could tie Miami's record for six first-round selections, or they could even set the new record at seven. LSU also has an over/under of 5.5, but the over on 5.5 Tigers players is a long shot at +165, projecting them as a far less likely to hit that mark than Alabama is.

Alabama has produced at least three first-round picks in each of the past NFL Drafts, but they have even more top-tier talented heading into the NFL this season. Players projected to go in the first round include Tua Tagovailoa, Jedrick Wills, Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III, with Trevon Diggs and Xavier McKinney also be viewed as bordering on round-one talent.

The program has established a reputation of producing coachable players that are natural athletes, so it is easy to see why they would garner this much attention from NFL teams.
