No team had a better 2020 college football season than the Alabama Crimson Tide. The team went a perfect 13-0 on the year, riding its momentum all the way to a CFP Championship victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The Crimson Tide will look to continue their success in 2021 and it all starts with a Week 1 clash against the Miami Hurricanes. There's no doubt that there will be a lot of hype around this season-opening meeting.

Alabama vs Miami Odds & Spread Week 1 - 2021

Even after losing 10 players at the 2021 NFL Draft, Alabama is still heavily favored to win their opening contest against Miami. The Crimson Tide are 17-point favorites over the Hurricanes, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Even though the Hurricanes went 8-3 last season, they'll have their fans full in the opening game. They'll have to deal with Alabama QB Bryce Young, who is one of the favorites to win next season's Heisman Trophy. The 19-year-old will have big boots to fill as 2021 NFL first-round draft pick Mac Jones' successor.

Regardless of how one-sided the odds appear to be, this game should be a good indicator of how each team will perform throughout the 2021 college football season.
