Aaron Rodgers Surges, Tom Brady Falls in Latest Shakeup of NFL MVP Odds

Tom Brady has had a convincing lead on the NFL MVP race for much of the 2021 season. While Aaron Rodgers has been trailing him the entire time by a decent margin, the reigning MVP was never out of reach. That all changed on Sunday when Brady had the worst game of his season during a tough loss to the New Orleans Saints and Rodgers put up yet another stellar performance en route to a win over the Baltimore Ravens.
This win also clinched the Packers a playoff spot and kept them as the No. 1 seed in the NFC, as well as the best record in the NFL at 11-3. Brady and the Bucs fell down to No. 3 seed in the NFC playoffs and now sit at 10-4.
Rodgers is now tied with Brady in the odds to win the NFL MVP award this season at +160, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest odds. Just a few weeks ago, Brady was at +150, while Rodgers sat in third at +750, also trailing Josh Allen at +600.
Patrick Mahomes sits in a distant third at +850 now, which at this point in the season, with only three weeks left, almost definitely puts him out of reach, making this a two-man race the rest of the way.
Let's take a look at the full list of odds to win the NFL MVP award.
