Aaron Jones is back. After leaving Week 10 early with an ankle issue, the Green Bay Packers lead back was sidelined for Week 11. While he was a game-time decision in Week 12, Jones is reportedly active.
He should return to a timeshare with A.J. Dillon, making him an RB1 against the Los Angeles Rams this week.
Aaron Jones Fantasy Outlook
From Week 2-9, Jones was averaging 18.8 opportunities (targets plus carries) per game. He should be expected to finish right around that number again this week, though it's possible Green Bay opts to ease him back into action.
He might not be particularly efficient with those touches, though. The Los Angeles Rams have the league's seventh-best rush defense by DVOA, surrendering the 10th-fewest rushing yards per game. This is not an easy team to run against.
Jones is still a low-end RB1 this week, but concerns about his usage and matchup do hurt his outlook a bit.
