The NCAA Tournament's West Region tips off Thursday and the No. 1-seed Gonzaga Bulldogs (30-3) taking on the No. 16-seed Fairleigh Dickinson Knights (21-13). Fairleigh Dickinson took down Prairie View A&M in the First Four play-in game to face Gonzaga, who lost its last game against Saint Mary's, 60-47, in the WCC Tournament.

It never hurts to get the opinion of an expert before wagering on college basketball. Here's what some experts from around the industry are saying about this NCAA Tournament matchup.

Gonzaga vs Fairleigh Dickinson Predictions

Picks And Parlays

The staff at Picks And Parlays are expecting maximum effort from the Bulldogs after being blown out of the water in the WCC title game against Saint Mary's. They like Gonzaga's talent and depth, so they are expecting the Bulldogs to win and cover.

Hero Sports

The folks at Hero Sports aren't fans of Cinderella stories, either. They are expecting Gonzaga to hand down a beating to the Knights and cover this massive spread.

Sports Chat Place

The Sports Chat Place crew thinks Gonzaga will have its way with Fairleigh Dickinson, but they aren't confident the Zags can cover an enormous 26.5-point spread. They believe the Bulldogs will build a large lead and then take their foot off the gas late in the game, giving the Knights a chance to cover.

ESPN Basketball Power Index

ESPN' BPI is giving Gonzaga a 99.2 percent chance at the straight-up win. The Knights have their work cut out for them if they want to hang in this one.

All four of these highlighted expert predictions are going with the Bulldogs to win straight up, with one of three spread predictions backing the Knights plus the points.
