Even after losing twice to the Duke Blue Devils, Virginia is in position to at least take a share of the ACC regular season title and the top seed in the ACC Tournament.

All the Cavaliers have to do is make it through Syracuse and Lousiville. Given that the Cavaliers just beat Louisville by 12, Syracuse could be the only real potential slip-up left.

The Syracuse Orange enter the game with UVA looking to secure the No. 6 seed for the ACC tournament and potentially even move up to No. 4 if Florida State and Virginia Tech lose over the next week.

But it won't be easy for Syracuse. Virginia is currently a 6-point favorite according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Although before placing a wager on this contest, let's take a look at what some industry experts are predicting for this matchup.

Virginia vs. Syracuse Predictions

Sports Chat Place

Sports Chat Place believes that UVA will continue its hot streak, once again crushing its opponent and cover the spread. The Cavaliers have won six straight, covering back-to-back spreads of 18 points or more.

The Spread

Drew Sharper, of The Spread, likes Virginia to win and cover mostly due to its top-ranked defense. He thinks it will be a low-scoring, ugly game, as many Virginia games are and Syracuse just won't be able to score enough to stay competitive.

Sports Jaw

Sports Jaw has UVA to win and cover the 6-point spread mostly due to Virginia's six-game win streak and top-ranked defense. Pitting the No. 1 defense against the No. 237 offense is not a great matchup on paper for the Orange.

The famous Ken Pom rating also likes Virginia to not only win but cover the 6-point spread. Ken Pom has UVA winning 64-56, as the advanced stats love UVA across the board.

ESPN Basketball Power Index

ESPN BPI sides with all the rest of our experts and gives Virginia an 84.7-percent chance to get the moneyline win against Syracuse.

Overall that's all five experts on Virginia to win Monday night at Syracuse and four out of four on the Cavaliers covering on the road.
