Anyone looking for a new home in the Sacramento area? Well, there might be one on the market if Sacramento Kings shooting guard Buddy Hield can't come through on a promise he made.

The former Oklahoma Sooner said he would "bet his house" that Sacramento will make the playoffs. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Kings have +210 odds to make the postseason

In reality, the Kings are one game out of the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference, behind the Los Angeles Clippers and two games ahead of the LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers.

Hield is enjoying the best season of his three-year NBA career, starting all 57 games for Sacramento, while averaging career highs in points (20.5), rebounds (5.1), 3-point percentage (44.9) and 3-pointers made (3.4) per game. During NBA All-Star Weekend, Hield even finished third in the 3-Point Contest

Sacramento will be a dangerous matchup for a lot of teams as we head down the stretch. After all, the Kings do have the third-best against the spread (ATS) record in the NBA this season.

Unfortunately for the Kings, they have to hold off a few formidable foes in the Western Conference in order to make the playoffs – and for Hield to keep his home.
