The bottom four-seeds in the Western Conference will be hotly contested in the home stretch of the NBA season, but the oddsmakers clearly believe the Los Angeles Lakers make it into the postseason, one way or another.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Lakers (+100) own better odds to make the playoffs than their main competition for a low seed in the Sacramento Kings (+210) and Los Angeles Clippers (+145), who currently own the eighth seed in the Western Conference.
Just three games out with 25 left to play and a healthy LeBron James
The Lakers own the ninth-toughest remaining schedule to close out the year, while the Kings and Clippers, on the other hand, own the 18th and 23rd toughest remaining schedules, respectively.
Tankathon has Lakers remaining strength of schedule (W/L % of remaining opponents) as 9th toughest at .519. Kings as 18th toughest at .492. Lakers final stretch is pretty rough so I think it evens out— John Powers (@RealJohnPowers) February 13, 2019
