With the NBA still on break, the only place to go for basketball tonight is in the college ranks, where four ranked teams are in action. One of those four teams is No. 23 Kansas State, which travels to Morgantown to take on West Virginia.

The usually-reliable Mountaineers have struggled this season to the tune of 10-15 and 2-10 in the Big 12. Meanwhile, Kansas State sits at 19-6 overall, 9-3 in the Big 12 and are 6.5-point favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook.

If you're planning on spicing up your Monday night by betting on some Big 12 action, take a look at what some voices around the industry have to say before making a final move.

Kansas State vs West Virginia Predictions

Sports Chat Place

Brett of Sports Chat Place is going with the Mountaineers to cover the spread after Kansas State had trouble with Iowa State last week. Add on the fact that Dean Wade probably isn't going to suit up for the Wildcats and that West Virginia has been better at home this season.

The Spread

Derek Patrick from The Spread leans along the same lines as Brett, picking West Virginia to cover mostly due to Wade's absence for the Wildcats. He also doesn't believe in Kansas State's offense, particularly on the road.

ESPN Basketball Power Index Matchup Predictor

ESPN's BPI doesn't provide us with a pick on the spread, but they do have a pretty decent lean towards Kansas State coming away with the road victory at a 63.8-percent chance.

So two predictions are taking the Mountaineers to cover the spread, while ESPN gives Kansas State the moneyline edge.
