3 Waiver Wire Replacements for Josh Gordon After WR Steps Away From Football Prior to Fantasy Finals

New England Patriots wide receiver Josh Gordon has stepped away from football once again. The extremely talented yet troubled wideout has disappointed fantasy owners many times before, but this time he does it in the same week as the fantasy football finals.

With little time left to prepare, here are the three best waiver wire fill-ins at the wide receiver position in Week 16.

3. Antonio Callaway, Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Antonio Callaway (available in 79 percent of Yahoo! fantasy football leagues) has an excellent matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, who are allowing the fourth most passing yards per game (270.6) this season. Callaway is a clear boom-or-bust WR3 as Jarvis Landry continues to scoop up the majority of targets from QB Baker Mayfield.

2. Robert Foster, Buffalo Bills @ New England Patriots

Robert Foster (available in 75 percent of Yahoo! fantasy football leagues) has posted 100 yards and/or a touchdown in four of the Bills' last five contests. Those numbers are a bit surprising since rookie QB Josh Allen hasn't necessarily mastered the art of passing just yet. In fact, we rarely think about anyone in the Buffalo passing game as a fantasy WR1/2. Well, Foster has clearly bucked that trend, and Buffalo will likely need to throw a lot in order to keep pace with a New England team that desperately needs a win to get back on track in Week 16. Look for another big game out of Foster as he lines up as a WR2 for the fantasy finals.

1. Robby Anderson, New York Jets vs. Green Bay Packers

Robby Anderson (available in 50 percent of Yahoo! fantasy football leagues) is a guy that is capable of single-handedly winning your finals matchup. Since QB Sam Darnold came back as the Jets' starter, Anderson has posted 11 catches on 18 targets for 172 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He hasn't been a must-start for most of this season, but the wide receiver should have a WR2 floor against the Packers this Sunday.
