Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has put up solid fantasy numbers this season but, according to Pro Football Focus, just how well he performs is dependent on where the game is being played.

There's no beating around the bush on this one -- Ryan has been a terrible fantasy quarterback in outdoor venues this year. The 11-year veteran has thrown just seven of his 25 touchdown passes playing on a grass field this season and registers a quarterback rating 23 points lower outside of a dome.

The disparity in Ryan's production may be a cause for concern as we head down the stretch of the fantasy football playoffs. While he'll face the Arizona Cardinals indoors at home in Week 15, they are allowing the second-fewest  FanDuel fantasy points per game (16.0) to opposing quarterbacks this season. That matchup is followed by the Week 16 dance against the Carolina Panthers on the road on an outdoor field. Then they travel to face the Bucs the last week of the season on another outdoor field.

Ryan is still an elite option at quarterback most weeks than not. However, these numbers will certainly make owners temper their expectations and, possibly, take a look to see what's available on the waiver wire.
