[The Duel will come out with a $10 parlay angle every day, tracking success on a rolling seven-day span. In the last seven days, The Duel staff has gone 1-6 in parlay bets with a -$22 payout differential. This month, we're down $32].

Game 1: Detroit Lions at Arizona Cardinals (+130), 4:25 p.m. EST

When two bad teams face off, the difference often comes down to which team is playing at home. The 3-9 Cardinals are that team this Sunday. Taking on a 4-8 Lions team that is 1-4 on the road this season, expect the Cards to lean on running back David Johnson, who has 17-plus carries in each of the team's four games since their Week 9 bye. Detroit is also 6-20 ATS in road games against NFC West division opponents since 1992. But in this scenario, I don't think we need to worry about the 2.5-point spread.

Good question: I'll take the Cards straight up.

Game 2: Milwaukee Bucks at Toronto Raptors (-186), 6:00 p.m. EST

Now shifting gears to the NBA. We have two of the best teams in the East facing off in Toronto. And this one comes down to home-field advantage as well. The Raptors are 11-3 at home, including four of their last five. The Bucks, on the other hand, are 4-5 on the road, accounting for more than half of their eight losses on the year. With the Raptors looking to avenge a rough 106-105 OT loss to the Nets in Brooklyn on Friday night, expect Toronto to come out focused and win this one.
