5 Best Prop Bets for Washington Redskins vs Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Game

We've got a classic NFC East matchup on our hands down in Dallas this Thanksgiving between the improving Dallas Cowboys and backup quarterback Colt McCoy-led Washington Redskins. Here are the five best prop bets ahead of Thursday afternoon's battle between the Redskins and Cowboys via FanDuel Sportsbook

5. Colt McCoy to Throw for 250+ Yards and the Redskins to Win

Odds: (+480)

Backup quarterbacks are always a wild card when it comes to sports betting, especially with one like McCoym who hadn't played for such a long period of time prior to last Sunday's game after Alex Smith was lost for the remainder of the season on a leg injury. However, at nearly 6/1 odds for an NFL quarterback to toss for 250 or more yards and steal a win, the value is there.

4. First Touchdown Scorer: Amari Cooper

Odds: (+750)

With the kind of stacked rushing defense the Redskins bring to the field every week, it's likely that Cowboys QB Dak Prescott and the offensive scheme will be looking to air it out to get things done at home on Thanksgiving. WR Amari Cooper has already become the option through the air since being traded from the Oakland Raiders just weeks ago.

3. Adrian Peterson to Rush for 100+ Yards and the Redskins to Win

Odds: (+470)

With the Redskins starting QB Alex Smith out for the rest of the season after breaking his leg in last Sunday's game, it only seems logical that Washington will look toward Adrian Peterson and the running game to come out of Dallas with a critical win in the division.

2. Ezekiel Elliot to Score 2+ Touchdowns

Odds: (+390)

After the kind of performance Elliott has had over the past two weeks, punching in two touchdowns through the ground or the air seems like a solid look. If Zeke can catch a pair of TDs or rush two in the end zone on Thanksgiving day, it would be his third consecutive game of two or more scores.

1. Washington Redskins to Win by 1-13 Points

Odds: (+300)

Vegas clearly doesn't love the Redskins, giving them a plus-7.5-point cushion against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. But if things can take a turn in the Redskins favor behind their incredibly stout defense, the game could come down to a last-second field goal surprise at a 3/1 payout if on the Redskins' side.
