The Detroit Lions narrowly escaped Week 11 with a 20-19 upset win over the Carolina Panthers. Rookie running back Kerryon Johnson led the way with 15 carries for 87 yards and a touchdown while adding two catches for 10 receiving yards. However, Johnson sprained his knee and will likely miss a game or two.

With the Lions on a short week for their traditional early Thanksgiving game, they'll have to figure out their running back situation between LeGarrette Blount and Theo Riddick.

Riddick had five catches on seven targets for 30 yards on Sunday but failed to do much in the running game, with only one carry that went for no gain. With Golden Tate in Philly now, Riddick has been asked to play more in the slot on offense. This allows him to still be fantasy relevant, and look for him to see an uptick in carries.

Blount will likely become the team's leader in carries without Johnson in the lineup. He hasn't done a lot this season, with just 183 rushing yards and three touchdowns, but most fantasy football owners know about the bruising running style he brings to the table.

For this week against the Chicago Bears, Riddick appears to be the better option because of his work in the passing game. The Bears are allowing the fewest FanDuel fantasy points per game (15.0) to running backs and have only surrendered one rushing touchdown to them all season.
