For the first time what has now seemed like ages, we finally have some positive news from the A.J. Green toe-injury saga.

After weeks and weeks of updates that detailed how his toe injury sustained late in the game in Week 9 has only gone from bad to worse, Green is now actually listed as doubtful and traveled with the team for this Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens. Even better, he's giving it a test before the game.

Any time you suffer an apparent turf toe injury that turns into a walking-boot issue only days later is a pretty telling sign that an injury is likely going to be an ugly one.

However, Week 11's early-Sunday update could be the first positive step in a long-awaited narrative shift from all bad news to good news on Green's pathway back to full health and fantasy dominance.

I think we will all believe more of this optimistic news when we see it translated on the field again. In the meantime, look for Cincinnati Bengals WRs John Ross and Tyler Boyd to put some inflated numbers amid Green's absence tonight against Baltimore.
