The New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs are on pace to finish 2018 with two of the top scoring offenses of all-time. But that may be a bad omen.

The odds aren't bad for either team to win the Super Bowl.

In a year that has featured some of the most explosive offensive performances of all-time, the Saints (36.7 points per game) and the Chiefs (35.3 points per game) trail only the Los Angeles Rams (33.5 points per game) as Super Bowl 53 favorites, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Rounding out the top-five scoring offenses are the Pittsburgh Steelers (+1100) and Chicago Bears (+2000).

The last team with the NFL's top offense to reach the Super Bowl and lose was the Atlanta Falcons, who averaged 33.8 points per game in 2016, prior to their heart-breaking loss to the New England Patriots.
