This is a big step for both the NBA and the sports gambling world. With the partnership, Caesers becomes the first casino with a sportsbook to have a partnership with teams from both the NBA and NHL.

The partnership allows the Sixers and Devils to promote Caesars' sportsbook and casinos at their venues, while Caesars will promote both teams at its over four dozen casinos worldwide. The goal for Caesars in the deal is to promote their sportsbooks, which are now available at two of their Atlantic City locations as well as their Caesars Casino and Sports app.
There will be various promotions and marketing materials branded by Caesers at both Sixers and Devils games, along with a 5,000 seat lounge in Newark, New Jersey at the Prudential Center.
This deal will most likely serve as the building block for more and more pro-teams striking similar deals. While it might not happen quite as fast as everyone hopes, there will most definitely be a domino effect as the leagues begin to accept sports gambling on a larger scale.
