Eli Manning isn't exactly having the greatest season of his career, throwing for only 7 touchdowns (against 4 INTs) in seven games with some real duds thrown in there.

The scary thing is things may end up getting a lot worse for the two-time Super Bowl champion if his offensive line doesn't start blocking for him.

Thanks to his incredibly poor protection this season, Manning leads the NFL in sacked yards lost with an unacceptable 181 total yards through seven games this season.

It goes without saying here that Manning's offensive line really needs to get it together soon. Otherwise, they just may put their quarterback in the running for the NFL record for most sacked yards lost in a season.

OF course, some people still think he's fantasy viable.

Poor protection and poor decisions have put the Giants in a 1-6 hole that, quite frankly, won't be escapable at this point. After trading away Eli Apple and Damon Harrison this week, it's obvious the Giants are in full fire sale mode. As long as the team keeps gutting the roster of its talent, things could go from bad to worse for a player whose career is already on a downward trajectory.
