Leonard Fournette and his bum hamstring have frustrated his fantasy owners this year and the fact that the Jacksonville Jaguars traded for Carlos Hyde could imply that his season is coming to a premature end.

Fortunately for his fantasy owners, it turns out that the second-year back is still on track and expected to play in the coming weeks, despite all of the noise surrounding the new running back in town.

According to 1010XL's Jacksonville Jaguars reporter Hays Carlyon, Fournette is expected to return to the field after the team's Week 9 bye.

Hearing that Fournette will finally return before fantasy playoff season has to be a relief for all of his owners. But they also have to wonder how Hyde's presence will affect Fournette's fantasy stock for the rest of the season.

Trading for Hyde was likely a circumstantial insurance move, at best, and even if he manages to crowd the Jaguars' backfield, it's unlikely the situation will last too long. Hyde has been horribly inconsistent this season and has averaged more than four yards per carry in just one game this season.

Barring a setback upon his return, Fournette should remain the undisputed lead back in Jacksonville.
