[This ATS list will be updated each week of the NFL season, keeping track of the best and worst teams to bet on.]

After Week 5, there are only four teams with one loss against the spread, and one with zero. The Chiefs remain the only undefeated team ATS, but there are plenty of teams chomping at the bit to join them in the top spot should KC falter.

The Browns at 4-1 is a testament to how undervalued they are by Vegas and the betting public. The Lions are another interesting team. Despite a 2-3 record, they only have one loss ATS -- their two wins, against the Patriots and Packers, came as underdogs. And their loss to the Cowboys was on a last-second field goal, allowing them to still cover the 2.5-point spread to an underwhelming Dallas team.

The Broncos cannot catch a break on the field or at the books. The Niners are floundering without Jimmy G, while the defending Super Bowl champs are struggling to defend.

The Falcons are a team to point out here because their ATS record matches their actual record. They have underperformed all year and it's carrying over to betting on them. A team that was, by most, thought to be good heading into the season, hasn't been up to snuff and is sitting at the bottom of the NFC South.
