Dak Prescott and Deshaun Watson are two of the more disappointing quarterbacks so far in 2018. That isn't to say they've been bad, just that they haven't performed as well as many people expected of them after torrid rookie years.

For Prescott, this is now going into year two of regression after he led the Cowboys to a 13-3 record in 2016. Watson was the Patrick Mahomes of 2017 before getting hurt and missing the rest of the season. Now both quarterbacks are struggling to win games in 2018.

However, wins and losses don't matter in fantasy football, so if we're looking to start either Watson or Prescott who's the better play?

Let's first look at their stats through four games:

Deshaun Watson: 62.2 percent completion, 1,246 yards, 7 touchdowns, 4 interceptions, 161 rushing yards, 1 touchdown

Dak Prescott: 61.7 percent completion, 753 yards, 4 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, 87 rushing yards

Nearly every statistical advantage goes to Watson here. He has more passing yards and rushing yards, and that combination makes up for the two more interceptions. The one advantage that you'd think Prescott has would be his offensive line, but due to injuries, the Cowboys line hasn't been as dominant as it usually is. While Deshaun Watson has had to run for his life and gotten sacked 17 times in four games, Prescott has been sacked 14 times so not much better.

The final nail in the coffin here is that Watson has Will Fuller and DeAndre Hopkins to throw to while Prescott is throwing to Cole Beasley and Michael Gallup. Watson just has much more of an upside thanks to his weapons and seem to be the better play in this situation.

If you gotta choose, give me Deshaun Watson in my lineup.
