The New York Yankees are finally catching a break after a July and August plagued by star-player injury news.
Yankees workhorse closer Aroldis Chapman is reportedly rejoining the team this weekend back in New York, and may even be activated from the disabled list as soon as next week, according to Yankees manager Aaron Boone.
Encouraging update on Aroldis Chapman. He'll re-join the #Yankees this weekend and could be activated "sometime next week," Aaron Boone said.

Chapman was placed on the DL back on Aug. 22 with tendinitis in his left knee, but it sounds like the Yanks are getting him back at just the right time as they head into the playoffs.
