The Oakland Raiders had quite the forgettable season-opener on Monday night, but there was one dazzling performance that should have fantasy owners on notice.

Tight end Jared Cook finished with a career-high 9 receptions and 180 yards in 33-13 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Those 180 yards are a franchise record at tight end, and only five Raiders (all wide receivers) have posted more than 180 yards receiving in the history of the franchise.

Cook had two highlight-reel plays in last night's game that stood out above the rest -- one of them was a long 45-yard catch-and-run that set up the Raiders first, and only, touchdown of the night.

The latter of the two was this bulldozing masterpiece, which victimized Rams cornerback Aqib Talib.

Let's see that again, a little closer this time.

With no one else in the Raiders receiving corps posting more than three catches, it appears like Carr has found a new best friend over the middle.

Cook is available in 48 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Football Leagues, and he'll be a hot commodity in nearly all of them. In leagues where a budget is placed on waiver wire adds, it's probably worth paying a little more to make sure you get a talent like this on your roster.
