The Jacksonville Jaguars and their fans can all breathe a collective sigh of relief as it appears star running back Leonard Fournette shouldn’t miss extended time with this hamstring injury.
According to the former LSU standout, he may not miss any time at all.
Leonard Fournette told me repeatedly off camera too that he feels his hamstring is “good” and that he felt he could’ve come back in the game. Stayed out because “they were being cautious” he said. https://t.co/YdjuwjIwaa— ig: josinaanderson (@JosinaAnderson) September 9, 2018
Fournette finished Sunday's game with nine carries for 41 yards before exiting with the injury. He also added three catches for 14 yards.
Doug Marrone said he’s “pretty optimistic” about Leonard Fournette’s hamstring injury. Trainers told him the strain is in a “good part” of the leg. #Jaguars— Daniel Popper (@danielrpopper) September 9, 2018
