The San Francisco 49ers have had it tough with injuries this year. Trey Lance, Elijah Mitchell (two separate times), Jimmy Garoppolo and Deebo Samuel are just some of the names this team has lost to significant injuries in 2022.

Dontae Johnson Injury Update

Despite getting the win in Week 14, it looks like the 49ers suffered another devastating blow on the injury front. On Tuesday, the team announced cornerback Dontae Johnson tore his ACL and now his season is officially over as well.

Johnson is a nine-year veteran, currently in his second stint wiht the 49ers. This season, however, has not been a great one. He has only appeared in two games so far. His most productive season as a pro came in 2017 where he started all 16 games for the 49ers.

The 49ers go up against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football this week and San Francisco is a 3.5-point road favorite in that contest, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
