Once again, the New York Yankees boast a roster with multiple AL MVP candidates. The Yankees haven't had an AL MVP winner since Alex Rodriguez in 2007, but 2020 could change that.

One silver lining to the delayed start to the season for Yankees fans is that the roster has gotten healthier, meaning they should be in even better position whenever the season begins. At FanDuel Sportsbook, two Yankees are among the top-seven favorites to win the award.

1. Aaron Judge (+1200)

Aaron Judge's 2020 MVP candidacy was not looking good when he was diagnosed with a fractured rib in spring training. However, the extra rehab time and possibility of a shortened season has moved him back into the discussion. He's currently tied for the second-best odds in the AL with Francisco Lindor at +1200, and he's trailing only Mike Trout (+140).

2. Gleyber Torres (+2100)

Gleyber Torres had eye-popping stats in his sophomore season, hitting 38 homers and averaging an .871 OPS for the year. Torres is a clear star of the future, and he is seventh-favorite to be AL MVP at just 23 years old. The oddsmakers are clearly expecting a breakout, but he's still a longshot at +2100,

3. Gerrit Cole (+5000)

While pitchers are never really favored to win the MVP, if any hurler is capable of winning the award in 2020, it's likely Gerrit Cole. Cole was unstoppable with the Houston Astros last season, posting league-best marks with a 2.50 ERA, a 2.64 fielding-independent pitching (FIP), 326 strikeouts and a 13.8 K/9. Although he lost the Cy Young to teammate Justin Verlander, Cole is likely the best pitcher in the American League and will have a shot to win if he keeps up those numbers. He's priced at +5000, giving him the best odds of any AL starter. Notably, Verlander was the last pitcher to win the AL MVP (2011).
