Barring a season ending injury, fantasy baseball players know what to expect out of their top draft picks at the beginning of the season. However, there are a few high-upside players outside the top 100 that, with a little luck and a healthy season under their belt, can perform well above their average draft position and finish the year as one of fantasy baseball's top performers.

Here are three players who could finish the 2019 fantasy baseball season as a top-100 fantasy option.

It's hard to believe that Miguel Cabrera even qualifies for this list, but his fantasy value has seriously diminished over the past few seasons thanks to a bevy of injuries. The future Hall of Famer is coming off a great spring in which he slashed .340/.418/.723 and looks poised to become the top fantasy player he once was. If he stays healthy, that is.

2. Adam Eaton (ADP: 188)

Adam Eaton has been bitten by the injury bug over the past couple of seasons, but he's more than capable of putting together a top-100 fantasy season in 2019. The 30-year-old outfielder owns a .300/.394/.422 slash line over his two abbreviated seasons with the Nationals and should be good for 100 runs scored and at least 30 doubles if he plays close to a full season in 2019.

3. Yu Darvish (ADP: 142)

Darvish struggled in his first season in Chicago due to a myriad of injuries throughout the year, but he looks like a prime bounce-back candidate thanks to a fantastic spring (2.25 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 12 innings pitched). As long as he stays healthy, a 15-win, 3.50 ERA and 200-strikeout season could be in the cards for the 32-year-old righty with that dangerous Cubs lineup backing him.
