The Dallas Cowboys are in good position to return to the NFL Playoffs in 2020. After a strong NFL Draft and free agency, the Cowboys are favored to win the NFC East.

However, with a new head coach for the first time in a decade, the Dallas Cowboys are bound to have some major shake-ups in the 2020 NFL season. Mike McCarthy's staff will likely bring in a new offensive philosophy and changes throughout the roster. Here are three Cowboys players that could lose their starting jobs.

1. Anthony Brown, CB

Anthony Brown has been a solid contributor at cornerback and just received a new contract, but there will be plenty of competition as second-round pick Trevon Diggs is now on the roster and talented signing Daryl Worley behind him. With Brown coming off tricep surgery in 2019, he could have a battle for his starting spot up ahead. The Cowboys have depth in the secondary, but unless Chidobe Awuzie gets moved to safety, Diggs and Worley will be competing with Brown for a starting role.

2. Tyrone Crawford, DE

While the Cowboys have one of the best edge rushers in football in Demarcus Lawrence, there are questions marks for his opposite number. Tyrone Crawford is the likely starter, but he only played in four games last year due to hip surgery. Fifth-round draft pick Bradlee Anae could be a potential replacement. To further complicate the situation, the Cowboys are also hoping Randy Gregory and Aldon Smith are reinstated by the league after being suspended.

3. Joe Looney, C

Joe Looney is a veteran center who brought stability to the line after Travis Frederick was unfortunately diagnosed with Guillain–Barré syndrome. However, Looney has some direct competition with yet another Wisconsin product in Tyler Biadasz, for whom the the Cowboys traded up with their division rival Philadelphia Eagles to obtain in the fourth round. Biadasz is a powerful lineman who should push Looney, at the very least.
