Browns vs Steelers Prop Bets
1. Ben Roethlisberger - Throw an Interception: Yes (-108)
This may be veteran Ben Roethlisberger's final home game given the uncertainty that surrounds his NFL future. It wouldn't be surprising to see him pass the ball a ton in order to give the crowd one last great performance. In the seven games this season that Roethlisberger has attempted at least 40 passes, he has tossed 7 interceptions. Keep in mind that this Cleveland defense picked the six-time Pro Bowler off four times in a do-or-die playoff game last year. The Browns have nothing to lose in this matchup, which means they could be more aggressive in coverage. Back Big Ben to throw at least 1 interception on Monday night.
2. Jarvis Landry - Receiving Yards: Over 46.5 (-110)
Wide receiver Jarvis Landry has become quarterback Baker Mayfield's most dependable target in the passing attack this season. The eighth-year pro has posted at least 49 receiving yards in two of his last three games, while also seeing a team-high 27 targets during that span. It's notable to point out that Landry racked up 65 yards on 5 receptions when he faced the Steelers back in Week 8. He should have no trouble finding open gaps in a Pittsburgh defense that is allowing 10.5 yards per completion (No. 22 in NFL). Landry has a shot to cash this over before halftime.
3. Nick Chubb - Anytime Touchdown Scorer (-120)
Bettors that aren't afraid to take on a little juice should target running back Nick Chubb to score under the bright lights in Week 17. The Cleveland workhorse has reached the end zone in each of his last two games and leads the Browns with 9 touchdowns on the season. Pittsburgh ranks in the middle of the pack when it comes to rush defense and has given up a rushing touchdown in every game since Week 5. Chubb has also dominated red zone touches as of late, seeing eight over the last three weeks. It is clear that head coach Kevin Stefanski is going to lean on his star RB as much as possible.
