3 Best Aaron Rodgers Prop Bets for Divisional Round Game Against the Rams
By FairwayJay

The Green Bay Packers (13-3) host the Los Angeles Rams (11-6) on Saturday, Jan. 16 in the NFL playoffs divisional round. Kickoff is at 4:35 p.m. ET on FOX. Freezing temperatures in the upper 20s and light winds less than 10 MPH will be present at Lambeau Field for kickoff.
The NFL Playoff odds show the Packers as a 6.5-point favorite at FanDuel Sportsbook and the total down slightly to 45.5 points on Friday. The moneyline is Packers -330 and Rams +265.
But beyond betting the spread, total or moneyline, you can get a little more creative with your wagering this weekend. There are many NFL prop bets available on FanDuel Sportsbook and quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the most popular player to bet on this week. Here are three of the best prop bets for Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.
1. Pass Attempts (UNDER 34.5)
The Packers were No. 1 in the NFL in scoring at 31.8 points per game. The Rams were the No. 1 scoring defense allowing just 18.5 points per game. The Rams pass defense also led the league allowing just 188 passing yards per game. So it's strength vs strength and the Packers have the NFL MVP on their side in Aaron Rodgers and his league-leading 48 touchdown passes. He's so efficient, accurate and smart, but the Packers are still very balanced on offense. Rodgers did not pass 35 times or more in any of the Packers' final six games. Take another shot under in this match-up.
2. Rushing Yards (UNDER 9.5)
Rogers ran for more than 10 yards in half the Packers' regular-season games. It's certainly possible he'll be scrambling more in this match-up against the Rams' elite defense. But I'm more willing to bet on Rodgers taking fewer running risks, as he did against the Bears in Week 17 with one rush for four yards. The Packers lost star left tackle David Bakhtiari to a season-ending knee injury in practice prior to the Bears final regular-season game. He's one of the best pass blocking tackles in pro football. A kneel down or two is negative rush yardage, and that too is in play.
3. Score a Touchdown (+500)
Rodgers scored three touchdowns this season and all against weaker defenses. But a quarterback sneak inside the 1-yard line, rollout run or misdirection bootleg against the stout Rams defense could be in play with near the goal line with more prep time. This also counters the potential rushing yards and adds a nice return if Rodgers scores. You can also go for the big longshot at +5000 to score 2 TD's or +2800 for Rodgers to score the first touchdown of the game.
