The 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games are set to begin on Friday, July 23 and sports fans will be able to put in wagers on a number of different events.

Women's triathlon made its Olympic debut as a medal sport back in 2000 and has continued to prove to the world how difficult it is to perform. The field is made up of 55 athletes this year and should make for an exciting competition.

USA's Katie Zaferes is the favorite to take home the gold in this event with odds set at +320, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The 2019 World Champion finished in 18th place at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She is followed closely behind by Great Britain's Georgia Taylor-Brown with odds set at +380.
