WNBA Picks Today: 2 Best Bets for Valkyries vs. Dream in Finals Game 3

WNBA Best Bets at a Glance

The 2026 WNBA Finals shift to Atlanta on Wednesday night with the Golden State Valkyries and Atlanta Dream tied at one game apiece.

Golden State opened the series with a 68-64 win before Atlanta responded with a 79-65 victory in Game 2. With the series even and both teams leaning heavily on their defense throughout the postseason, Game 3 should be another competitive matchup.

Which bets stand out for tonight's slate?

Let's run through the top options in FanDuel Sportsbook's WNBA odds, leaning on advanced stats from the WNBA to help us find an edge in the market.

WNBA Best Bets and Predictions Today

Golden State Valkyries vs. Atlanta Dream

Golden State Valkyries +3.5 (-106)

Game 2 got away from Golden State, but I'm willing to back the Valkyries to respond rather than treating the 14-point loss as the new expectation for this matchup.

Golden State went 3-0 against Atlanta during the regular season and won Game 1 of this series. The Valkyries also entered the Finals with the WNBA's top-ranked regular-season defense, and their Game 2 loss was heavily influenced by 19 turnovers that Atlanta converted into 24 points.

Cleaning up even some of those possessions should give Golden State a better chance of keeping Game 3 tight. With four of the five meetings between these teams this season going Golden State's way, I'll take the points in Atlanta.

Angel Reese 10+ Rebounds (-340)

Reese has controlled the glass through the first two games of the Finals, recording 12 rebounds in Game 1 before pulling down 16 in Game 2.

That production also matches what she did against Golden State during the regular season. Reese averaged 12.3 rebounds across the three meetings between these teams, giving her a strong track record in this matchup beyond just the first two games of the Finals.

After her 30-point, 16-rebound performance helped Atlanta even the series on Monday, Reese should continue to have plenty of opportunities on the glass in Game 3.

WNBA Betting -- Frequently Asked Questions

What does the point spread mean in WNBA betting?

The point spread is a margin set by oddsmakers to level the playing field between two unevenly matched teams. For example, if the Dallas Wings are listed at -7.5, they need to win by 8 or more points for a bet on them to cash. Conversely, a bet on their opponent at +7.5 wins if that team loses by 7 or fewer points — or wins outright.

What is the moneyline?

The moneyline is a straight-up bet on which team wins the game, with no spread involved. Favorites carry a negative number (e.g., -200, meaning you must risk $200 to win $100), while underdogs carry a positive number (e.g., +170, meaning a $100 bet returns $170 profit).

How does the over/under (game total) work?

Oddsmakers set a projected combined score for the game, and bettors wager on whether the actual total will go over or under that number. For instance, if the total is set at 154.5 points, an over bet wins if both teams combine for 155 or more points. WNBA totals can swing based on pace of play, rest situations, and injuries, so it's worth tracking those factors before placing a total bet.

What are WNBA player props?

Player props are bets tied to an individual player's statistical performance rather than the game's outcome. Common prop bet markets include points scored, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and combinations of those stats.
