WNBA Championship Odds Update: Aces Remain the Favorites

The Commissioner's Cup has been decided, and we are heading into the final stretch of the WNBA season.

The Las Vegas Aces remain the top team with a 27-3 record, but by no means is this season a foregone conclusion as there is plenty of basketball to play.

With the final quarter of the regular season left to go, here's a look at the WNBA Championship odds, per FanDuel Sportsbook.

WNBA Championship Odds

Las Vegas Aces (-190)

The Aces are the defending champions and have shown no signs of slowing down. With that said, they did end up losing the Commissioner's Cup in a lopsided game versus the New York Liberty, so while Vegas is the favorite to win it all, they're far from a lock to do so.

One big loss won't hurt them too badly, though. It's likely to leave the Aces more gamed for the end of the season so that they can make up for it when the time arrives.

Vegas will look to reigning MVP A'ja Wilson, who has followed up her previous season with another MVP-caliber year. Wilson is averaging the most points of her career at 21.2 per night. Along with the career-high in points comes a line of 9.6 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.2 blocks, and 1.4 steals -- an output that captures her greatness. She currently has +135 odds to win the MVP, making her the second favorite.

Las Vegas has the team and the track record to get it done. A Commissioner's Cup defeat shouldn't sway bettors away from the Aces' overall dominance this season.

New York Liberty (+170)

The Liberty got a huge confidence boost when they defeated the Aces to win the Commissioner's Cup, beating them 82-63 in a one-sided rout.

Even if the win wasn't the championship itself, it should give New York confidence that they can do it three more times in the WNBA Finals.

New York has a 26-6 record on the back of Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, Courtney Vandersloot, and Jonquel Jones. Given that three of those players weren't on the Liberty a season ago, it's a big deal that their chemistry has gotten to the level it's at now. They've clicked more and more as the season has gone on, and their triumph over the Aces shows just how far they've come.

The Liberty -- led by Stewart, who is a -145 favorite to win the MVP -- is a team that can throw off the Aces.

Ionescu's lethal shooting (league-leading 101 three-pointers made) and Stewart's all-around game (23.3 points per night) should be able to push New York to a Finals appearance -- and maybe more. They're worth taking a bet on.

Connecticut Sun (+3200)

The Connecticut Sun would be more in the conversation if it wasn't for the Achilles injury to Brionna Jones. Six of the Sun's nine losses this season have come since Jones' injury.

But they still have the top-notch duo of DeWanna Bonner and Alyssa Thomas. Thomas has powered them with 15.3 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game -- doing everything she can.

If they are to get back to the Finals for the third time in five years, the Sun will need Thomas and Bonner to kick it into an even higher gear.

The +3200 odds certainly reflect Connecticut's longshot status.
