NHL Player Prop Bets to Target on Monday 10/23/23

Rasmus Dahlin To Record a Power-Play Point (+220)

The Buffalo Sabres host the Montreal Canadiens in the lone NHL game tonight, which features a 6.5-goal over/under.

We should see some good scoring in this game since both teams are in the top 11 of the league for the most goals scored per 60 minutes in five-on-five situations this season. That's a pretty clear indication that offense is the name of the game tonight, and we'll look to Rasmus Dahlin of the Sabres for some.

Dahlin is the defender on the their pairing and top power-play unit, putting him in a great spot. He averages over 24:00 minutes of ice time per game to lead the team and has plenty of offensive ability.

He comes in with 14 shots on goal through five games along with 5 assists. One of those assists came on a power-play a few games ago, and with goal-scorers such as Tage Thompson and Jeff Skinner on that top unit, he can easily pick up an assist.

The matchup against the Canadiens should enable those power-play chances since they come in with 95 penalty minutes through four games, which is the most in the NHL. The Sabres should look to push the pace on offense tonight. and Dahlin should be firmly in the mix.
