NHL Betting Picks for Friday's Stanley Cup Final Game 6 (Panthers vs. Oilers)

The Edmonton Oilers have stormed back into this series and now will head back home for a Game 6. Will they be able to force a Game 7, or will the Florida Panthers win the Stanley Cup on Friday night?

Let's dive into the best bets for tonight.

NHL Best Bets

Florida Panthers at Edmonton Oilers

Oilers 60-Minute Moneyline (+125)

After three games of frustration for the Oilers, they've finally gotten back into the series. Their play indicated they deserved better than to be down three games to none, and it has come to fruition over the past two games.

Now after six games, the Oilers have the edge in terms of total expected goals (xG). They struggled to turn xG into actual goals in the first three games but have scored 13 goals in the past two games.

The Oilers have needed the power play all season long to score goals, and that was failing them in those first three games. Now their power play is really starting to heat up, with three goals in the last two games.

Connor McDavid has really started to take over this series, as only he can. He's had back-to-back games with four points, the first person to ever do that in the Stanley Cup Final.

While Edmonton's best player is peaking, one of Florida's best has been having a tough time. Sergei Bobrovsky has allowed 4.22 goals above expected in these last two losses.

Things seem to be trending in the direction for Edmonton to win. Instead of just taking their moneyline, we can squeeze a bit of value by betting them to win in 60 minutes. No game in this series has gone to overtime, and five of six games have been decided by more than a goal. Because of that, we'll take the +125 odds instead of -122.
