NFL Survivor Picks for Week 7: The Seahawks Are Here for Us

There aren't many more crucial things than nailing your NFL survivor picks, so we're here to help.
Based on numberFire's NFL survivor matrix, here are some of the best NFL survivor picks for Week 7.
NFL Survivor Picks for Week 7
Seattle Seahawks
This is the time of the year where things start to get really tough. Not only have you probably already used many of the top teams, but with bye weeks in full force, there aren't as many options from which to choose.
The Seattle Seahawks are a welcome sight.
Seattle is the week's biggest favorite, listed at -400 on the moneyline at home versus the Arizona Cardinals, according to the NFL odds at FanDuel Sportsbook. You might have picked Seattle a few weeks ago when they were at home against the Carolina Panthers, but if you haven't used them yet, this is the week to take them.
Arizona has been feisty this year -- much better than most were expecting them to be -- but they're still ranked 26th by numberFire's nERD metric, and Seattle is a 7.5-point favorite in this one.
Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, Kansas City Chiefs
I'm lumping these three together because they're all similar. They're really good teams who are sizable favorites this week -- the three biggest favorites after Seattle -- but are squads you've likely burned through already.
The Buffalo Bills (-390 ML) are the biggest favorites of this bunch, but a road game at the New England Patriots is far from a gimmie -- even with the Pats struggling.
Despite dealing with some injury woes, the San Francisco 49ers (-300) are big favorites at the Minnesota Vikings. Minnesota's Justin Jefferson-less offense didn't impress last week at the Chicago Bears, and the Vikes should have a tough time scoring points against a top-notch San Fran D.
The Kansas City Chiefs (-220) are favorites in a home AFC West clash against the Los Angeles Chargers. While it's hard to ignore the -220 number, these two teams tend to play close, competitive games. Over four games across the past two years, they haven't had a contest decided by more than six points.
Digging Deeper
Have you already used the teams mentioned above? Here's some other options.
Las Vegas Raiders
Yes, the Las Vegas Raiders.
Going by the odds, there's a big drop after the four aforementioned teams. No one else is bigger than a -164 favorite (as of Tuesday morning). Want to know how scary the rest of the options are? The next-biggest favorite is the Raiders (-164) on the road.
A matchup with a Bears team that's likely to be sans Justin Fields is certainly a soft matchup. Plus, the early news on Jimmy Garoppolo's health is positive -- although it's not a lock Jimmy G plays this week.
All in all, even if Garoppolo suits up, it takes some courage to pick the Raiders. But if you're short on decent options, they are the biggest favorite outside of the four teams above. Just make sure Jimmy G is playing before you lock in Vegas.
Los Angeles Rams
Personally, I have an easier time stomaching the Los Angeles Rams this week than the Raiders. The Rams are -162 moneyline favorites at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Pittsburgh is coming off a bye and just got a big win over the Baltimore Ravens last time out. They're not a bad team, but they aren't that good, either, ranking 14th by nERD while LA sits 7th.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
I'm also intrigued by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are -152 favorites at home versus the Atlanta Falcons.
This is mostly a bet on the Bucs' defense getting the best of Desmond Ridder. Tampa's offense is underwhelming with Baker Mayfield under center, but the defense is pretty darn good, checking in 11th overall by numberFire's schedule-adjusted metrics. They should be able to handle an Atlanta offense that ranks sixth-worst by numberFire.
Just check Mayfield's status to be sure that he'll be out there.
