Oregon vs. Creighton Best Bet

Oregon +5.5 (-115)

The Oregon Ducks won on Thursday in an "upset" as an 11 seed, but they were actually favored in the game. They ended up beating South Carolina handily, 87-73.

This was the Ducks' fifth-straight win, after they won the Pac-12 Tournament last week. The performances of Jermaine Cousinard and N'Faly Dante definitely caught some attention in the first round as they were both excellent.

This won't be an easy game against the Creighton Bluejays. They also won their first game of the tournament easily over Akron, 77-60. Creighton is a strong team, but there are reasons to believe that Oregon can compete here.

Creighton didn't run away from 135th-ranked Akron in the first half when only taking a five-point lead into the break. They eventually pulled away but will be facing much tougher opposition.

Where Creighton might struggle to defend is against Dante down low. Dante is 6'11 with a 7'5" wingspan. He's averaging over two blocks per game in his last six games while also averaging 20.5 points per game.

These teams also rank very low in pace, which in theory should keep this game closer. The model on numberFire likes Oregon's chance to cover the spread, giving them a 55.97% of staying within 5.5 points in this game.

Oregon vs. Creighton Prop Bet

Baylor Scheierman 4+ Made Threes (+174)

Baylor Scheierman is one of the most prolific three-point shooters in the country. His 102 attempts were tied for 15th in the country.

He's exceeded four threes made 10 times this season in 33 games. Now, he'll face an Oregon team that is 240th in three-point defense and 135th in three-point attempts allowed.

We're getting a good price on this bet at +174, so I'd take a shot on Scheierman connecting from deep at least four times in this game. Oregon's recent offensive surge should keep Creighton on the gas pedal.
