Kristaps Porzingis (calf) officially out Game 1 Tuesday for Celtics
Boston Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis (calf) has officially been ruled out for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.
What It Means
Porzingis hasn't played since April 29 due to a right calf strain. He's expected to remain out for Game 2 on Thursday, but Porzingis could reportedly return when the series shifts to Indiana for Games 3 and 4. Al Horford should draw another start on Tuesday night, while Luke Kornet and Sam Hauser will continue to play extra minutes off the bench.
numberFire's models project Horford for 31.5 minutes and 27.7 FanDuel points in Game 1. He's averaging 30.2 minutes and 25.1 FanDuel points per game as a starter in the playoffs.
