TAUMUTU LAD (1) had to call on all reserves to score as the favourite last time out over 1m at Mt Harding, getting home by just 0.8 metres. Has the benefit of a good draw. Steps up a level but he is good enough to cope. WARD LAMON (16) added to the impressive sequence of wins last start when he scored by 3 metres over 1 ³/16m at Addington. Will need an ounce of luck to slot in from this tricky draw. Facing a tougher assignment but he is up to the task. UNICO REALTA (11) is looming as a real threat after a better effort last start, finishing second at Mt Harding over 1m after sitting parked-out with 5f to run. MELTON MAGNATE (9) cannot be ruled out but needs a bit of luck from the tricky draw.
