GREAT ESCAPE (2) is a lightly tried 5YO mare who resumed with a game effort for second as the favourite at Otaki 2 weeks ago when trying to make all the running. She carries 4lbs less this time, and he can take them all the way. SUPER WRAITH (3) has needed both of his runs back from a spell, and he is usually very competitive when fit. He is backing up quickly, and he has solid each-way claims here. BADGERINGDAWITNESS (1) has had some issues this season, and he is resuming from a spell with a recent trial under his belt. If he does not need the run, then he can figure in the top 4. ANAROA (5) showed a bit of his old form when finishing fourth fresh up at Hawera nearly a fortnight ago.
