FANTABULOUS (2) has been freshened up after failing to see out 1m here just over 7 weeks ago. His form was building nicely before that, and we think he can bounce back into form to take this out. MIDNIGHT FLAIR (3) has improved in each of his 2 starts to date, finishing third at only his second career start at Avondale just over a fortnight ago. He has a good draw, and should be in the top 3 again here. JUSTASHOTAWAY (4) has been given plenty of time to mature before making his debut, and he should make an immediate impact after winning his latest trial at Foxton in the middle of last month. Follow the market moves. ROSA (7) was reported to have struggled with the holding track conditions at Otaki just over 3 weeks ago, and she is worth another chance, especially if there is rain on the day. HARD ROCK CAFE (1) ran on nicely late fresh up at Awapuni-synthetic just over a fortnight ago, and with natural improvement second up, he can figure in the top 3 here.
